Bolt Action: Bersaglieri Reinforcements

Painted up another two squads of Bersaglieri infantry last night.

Bolt Action: Chaffee and Greyhound

Started up some Americans. Had to re-weather these after dullcoat did something weird to my pigments - it turned them all white. Didn't frost the whole model...just the pigments. Bizzare.

By Fire and Sword: Elite Cossacks

Painted up a squad of BFAS Elite Cossacks. They're just standard cossack figures with shields to let them stand out. This gives me almost 30 stands of cossack style cavalry to play with for BFAS, and lets me field some smaller end division level forces as well.

Flames of War: Bersaglieri

Polished off some more 15mm Italians. The core rifle guys have been seen in a previous post. Added all the support weapons and finished off the bases. Also some tanks.

Flames of War AIW: T55s and Completed Syrian Army

Painting project progress as been slow. Work schedule has been terrible and only getting worse. Polished off 20 Khurasan T55s. This should complete my AIW Syrian army...for now anyway.

Bolt Action: Bersaglieri

Finished off the first of my 28mm Bersaglieri. Didn't get nearly as many figures as I was expecting and have already ordered another two packs of infantry.

Polished off this carri tank. Really happy with the Blitzkrieg Miniatures sculpts. Hoping they expand their line soon!

Weekend Update: 15mm Bersaglieri

Wow, has my painting spree slowed down. Between Christmas shopping and a major Eve deployment, the past week as hectic at best. I did however manager to paint up two squads of Bersaglierim in both 15mm and 28mm.

Polish Volunteers and some WIP shots of current projects

Another six stands of Volunteers done. That gives me 12 stands of Volunteers done...for a whopping total of 3 FSP of meat shields.

Bolt Action: Polish Howitzers

A cat named Bob from the WWPD forums sculpted up some 28mm French howtizers, since they're pretty hard to find. I snagged two from him, and painted them up as Polish. Hopefully I'll be getting some crew from Warlord soon enough.

By Fire and Sword: Polish Cossacks with Spears

Short and sweet - just doing a bunch of small projects while waiting on my BA Bersaglieri to arrive. The Polish skirmish force I've been fielding for BFAS can take these spear and shield armed cossacks for free, but I didn't have the models up until now. Should add a bit more punch.

Between working a bunch of extra shifts this week, Eve: Rubicon, and War Thunder, I haven't had a ton of painting time to paint up all of my Fall-In goodies. I did manage to squeeze in the first 10 Syrian T34/85s though.

Review: Dave's Baggage Train Carrying Case

So I've been in the market for a transport/storage solution for my By Fire and Sword figures, and came across Dave's Baggage Train at Fall-In. I store most of my armies in foam, and it works great for FoW, 40k, DZC, etc. But BFAS figures have tons of pikes and lances and other long bits that stick straight up, and it felt like a waste to buy such deep foam trays.

Nothing fancy here, just a simple carrying case made of readily available materials, but it was nice to get it all in one spot and preconstructed.

FoW: Easy Eights

Didn't get a ton painted recently due to Fall-In (and this week doesn't look good for painting either), but did finish off a box of Easy Eights and the Abrams box set, giving me a total of six Easy Eights and one random Sherman 76.

Back From Fall-In

Back from Fall-In. Went up just for two nights. Played a FoW doubles on Friday. Joe and I took KG Hummel - 10 trained Tigers and a plane. We went 2-1, and came in fifth (we think) out of 40ish. Ironically the matchup 10 trained Tigers lost to was Crocs. Go figure.

Painting: FoW T35s and SU-100s

I have just been on a painting roll the past few weeks. Now with the 40k army out of the way (although I have some superheavies that want attention now...) I can work on a few back burner FoW projects. First we have two more T35s, bringing my total to four.

Weekend Painting Frenzy: Tons of 40k

Well, I had a nice 3-day weekend, and since most of my gaming plans fell through (although I did get in one Chain of Command game!) I got A LOT of painting done on some random back burner projects. In addition to the Daemonettes from the last post, I also knocked out 20 Noise Marines, 3 Terminators, and 10 Seekers. 

But first, an awesome looking army shot.

Banged out another 10 Daemonettes and a few AIW tanks. Hope to finish off 20 Noise Marines and three Terminators tonight as well.

40k Daemonettes, AIW T55, Brief 40k AAR

Painted up the first 10 out of 20 Daemonettes for my upcoming Slaanesh CSM/Daemon army. They're actually repainted - I had these figures done years ago in a different blueish scheme.

Painting Update: 40k, FoW AIW, Fanticide

Not a ton of fun stuff done. Finished off two Chaos Predators. Stuck album covers on the back to fit the whole Noise Marine theme.

Bolt Action: AK army complete!

Finally finished off my Bolt Action AK army. Was waiting on bases for the last eight figures. For those not familiar, the Armia Krajowa was a Polish resistance army during WW2. The underground force worked to provide a lot of intel to the allies, and were a major combat force in various operations, including the Warsaw Uprising.

Painting Update: FoW T35s and BFAS Polish Volunteers

 Was suprised to see Huzzah got in some T35s - I quickly grabbed them off the shelf and painted them the same night. Sadly, haven't used them in a game yet - having only two limits my options.

Weekend Update: Without Seth Meyers

Not a whole lot of painting done the past two days, due to a FoW tournament on Saturday and myself attempting to switch my body back to overnight schedule for work. Did bang out five more partisans for Bolt Action (Musketeer Miniatures figs) and another two dragoon stands for By Fire and Sword (mounted and dismounted)

Some Markers and Project Updates

These can be used as pin markers for BA, wound markers or turn counters for any game. Nothing too spectacular - quickly done up and will be used as "giveaways" at the next BA tournament.

40k: Keeper of Secrets

 Painted up a Forgeworld Keeper of Secrets. I've kinda had an itch to play some 40k recently, so maybe this will kickstart my interest. I've had this cat sitting around in bare resin for years, so it was nice to finish it off.
