I recently "acquired" a large collection of Cygnar. This jack was already assembled so I figured I'd use it as a test model.
Just a quick test model - working on a paint scheme. Not sure if I like it - the darker blue looks kinda blackish and not very blue. Also, the yellow spots will either be covered with gold or a brighter yellow...or maybe just left as they are.
It is an interesting scheme, not to my taste though. It is missing the contrasting metal colors that are popular when painting warmachine jacks. The areas of metal with holes in them (for cooling purposes) are usually painted bronze or gold. To be honest I was expecting a bit more realistic or camo scheme from you when I heard to picked up all that Cygnar.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm not too sure about it myself either. Also on the list is a mostly-metallic scheme of various colors (which is a pain due to the lack of good metallic colors out there) and a purple scheme (a la my Eldar).
