Rebased Napoleon at War and LVO Musings

I realized this weekend that I had based my NaW cavalry and Artillery facing the wrong way on the bases, so I took care of that rebasing yesterday. It's actually a rough endeavor for me, as I use super glue to attach figures and then bury them in stucco, so it's a pretty "permanent" setup and hard to redo. Still need to come up with a basing flocking scheme for them.

Napoleon at War: French Army to Date

I finished off my starting plunge for a Napoleon at War French army. It comes to 1130 points base (without using any additional options), and is almost a legal army (short one infantry battalion and one command stand).

Napoleon at War : First Napoleon Test Model

Finally got my Man at War Napoleonic figures in. I will admit, the figure quality is downright poor. I don't know why it's acceptable in historical miniatures to produce such bad figures - you don't see GW, Privateer Press, or any other big name mainstream minis company producing poor figures, and startup companies that do don't stay around for long, but it seems the historical market is just flooded with bad figures.

Sorry, rant over.

Anyway, I got this neat painting guide..."paint by numbers" as a local friend calls it.
