Kings of War: Lizardmen Saurus Cavalry and (old) Carnosaur

Finished up a Carnosaur, and finished photographing the Saurus Cav. So this was intended as a KoW project, and I intended to put the Carosaur with the Saurus Cav to stand in as a unit of Ancients on Rhinosaurs. However, much like the skinks, they don't line up very well. If I elect to stick with the sqaure bases, I''ll just put 4 in the back row staggered between tails, but I may still opt for Age of Sigmar basing + custom movement trays to spread them out (and look better for AoS)

Kings of War: Skinks

So I painted these up over the past couple weeks for a Kings of War Lizardmen Salamanders army, but was waiting for the movement trays before photographing them. However, upon arrival, I found out they don't really rank up to well. I think I might explore the option of basing them on rounds (which are a big larger), for Age of Sigmar, and then try a custom movement tray that allows me to put the round bases on trays for Kings of War. But a rebasing project will be rough...so...we'll see.

15mm KoW: Tons of Starks and Baratheons

Finished off a ton pretty much everything for the 15mm Game of Thrones Kings of War project.  Due to my assembly line painting, everything finished at once. All I have left is five individual characters, and they are painted - just waiting for bases to arrive.

Kings of War: Tree Herders

A trio of Tree Herders for my Kings of War Wood Elves. I'll probably only ever use two, not three, but I can't turn down a good package deal.

Kings of War: 28mm Winged Hussars

Some 28mm Winged Hussars from Warlord Games. Abyssmal models and kit, in my opinion, further reinforcing my opinion that people are just content with setting with subpar when it comes to historical figures. Also they don't give you enough wings to give each hussar two...in addition many of the sculpts won't take two wings even if you cast them. They rationale it has being more historically accurate, but really, who buys winged hussars and doesn't want the iconic wings???

Kings of War: Green Lady's Wild Guard

Painting has been kind of slow as I've been working on some house projects while waiting for bases to come in for my wood elves. But, I finished up a unit of elves for my "Green Lady's Wild Guard". It's an elite upgraded unit that can only be taken if you take the Green Lady, which I plan to. (She's on the painting table now!)

Kings of War: Forest Shambers

First unit of Kings of War Dryads Forest Shamblers complete. This was a test run to see if I could do the whole foliage thing...I'm pretty happy with it so I'll finish up the rest soon.
